Today it is raining! YEAH! It has been so long since it has rained, just the smell in the air is something to be cherished in California. Oh my goodness, the rain is just pouring such a great sound on a tin roof of the patio.
Today is going to be a lazy day, I think I will get those Sympathy cards done so I can get them mailed. Strange how the older you get, the more people pass. A co-workers father passed away, then my father-in-law passed away, then a co-worker of my husband mother passed away and then another co-workers aunt died all within 2 weeks period. I hope that this is not a trend, or maybe I just need to get some younger friends!
I really liked this card. The colors just popped out at me. I loved the Perfect Pearls on the stamp. Hope you can see the leaves on the card

Very interesting. I have seen Laura B do this technique a lot of times, however never been bold enough to try it. Not too bad for my first time. Had to use the back side of the stamp set because it wasn’t very wide. Need to get the other set and try it again.

Had a bad time with my embossing powder, I guess even those that are really good have issues at times. The embossing powder I used really didn’t work, but I thought it was worth still posting
